Sunday belongs to the SUN

Sunday belongs to the sun🌞. In ancient times Sunday was the day of the sun god, Helios, the son of the Titans Hyperion and Thea (and brother to Cronos who we know as Saturn) who was believed to cross the heavens in a burning sun chariot. The tarot card of the chariot is associated with Cancer (Cardinal Water) (ruler of the moon) however Cancer season marks the Summer Solstice and the height of summer when the sun is at its strongest. The astrological sign Leo (Fixed Fire) is given to the sun and Leo season marks the beginning of summer.

Full of energy and vitality the sun is invigorating. So Sunday is a day to be in the rays of the sun (even in winter) as it will energise. Even though we associate Sunday with a rest day - it is a rest day from work. However the energy of the sun is that of action, drive and vitality. SO Sunday is a great day for action be it outdoor sports, walking, gardening, visiting new inspirational places or visiting family and friends who will uplift our spirits on this high vibrational day.

The sun is enlightening, energetic, warm, creative, confident and abundant. Creative personal projects are great for a Sunday. Sports help create warmth through exercise which in turn energises.

The colours of the Sun are warm and bright. Gold, yellow orange. Maybe a nice bright jumper or scarf as we are in late autumn now.
