New Moon in Scorpio

I stumbled across an old interview with David Bowie the other day, and what he said I think sums up the magic and potential of this new moon perfectly.

"If you feel safe in the area that you're working in, you're not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you're capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth. And when you don't feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you're just about in the right place to do something exciting." David Bowie 1997 ‘Inspirations Documentary’

By venturing into the unknown we discover something deep inside of us that was waiting to emerge. By being uncomfortable we find inspiration. By trying new things we progress.

Change is a process - it doesn’t happen overnight. It’s been a journey and we have had to face challenges along the way that have reshaped our way of thinking.

New Moons are seeds. Seeds of thought. Scorpio is deep, powerful and transformational. This is probably one of THE most powerful and alchemical moons of the year - a turning point. A lightbulb moment perhaps?

Time to go within and go deep. Listen out for the whispers, the nudges, the moments of intuition and the realisations that silently guide us and point the way. We are being asked to change and adapt to a new emerging world. What we did before just doesn’t fit anymore - and that can be frightening as all we knew is being pulled from under our feet. But remember - the universe doesn’t test for you to fail - it tests for you to succeed and to be more successful at what you do than you ever thought was possible.

So take a deep breath, summon your utmost courage and take that plunge.
