Sunday belongs to the sun🌞. In ancient times Sunday was the day of the sun god, Helios, the son of the Titans Hyperion and Thea (and brother to Cronos who we know as Saturn) who was believed to cross the heavens in a burning sun chariot.

Alcyone - myth and magic
If we look up in the night sky and direct our gaze towards Taurus the bull (right of Orion) there is a cluster of stars known as The Pleiades or The Seven Sisters. They were the daughters of Atlas (a Titan who was commanded by the god Zeus to hold up the earth - keeping the weight of the world on his shoulders) and Pleione (who was the prtectress of sailors). Their daughters were called Maia, Alcyone, Asterope, Celaeno, Taygete, Electra, and Merope.

New Moon in Taurus 27/4/25
Today, an exalted moon rises in the sky. A quiet whisper reminding us of the value of self-worth, self-love love and personal power. The moon is exalted in Taurus as the moon is our emotion and the way we feel secure, and Taurus is a comforting earth sign that revels in stability. The result is finding a way to be grounded, comfortable, secure and emotionally fulfilled.
Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo 14/4/25
How is everyone - did we survive the eclipse? I awoke early this morning and managed to catch a glimpse of the moon setting on the horizon that had a lovely orange tinge to it. Maybe not quite the potent red that many were expecting but definitely in shadow.

As we near the end of Aquarius season we hit the full moon in Leo at 24º. Air meets fire in opposition. A desire to be seen on a personal level with the desire to be part of the collective whole. Aquarius new moons are positively futuristic and that’s exactly where we need to be looking. Aquarius is a masculine yang, fixed, air sign that rules the 11th house of our hopes, dreams and wishes. It also rules community and the collective consciousness. We are invited with this moon to step into alignment with our dreams and be big and bold and courageous in following them. Full Supermoon In Cancer 13/1/25
The first full supermoon of 2025 sits in the watery sign of cancer - the moons own feminine temple. Next to her is Mars in retrograde as she welcomes him also into her home. Mars has made us look back at what it is we need to feel supported and loved. Mars and the Moon here together are holding our hands to guide us through. This is a strong and powerful moon that is full of drive and will and focus. Mars helps give the energy of action whilst the Moon explores and gives reason to take it. In a sextile to Uranus an electric spark is fired opening portals and possibilities. Uranus wishes for us to be free.
New Moon in Capricorn 30/12/24
Tonight sees the new moon at 9º in the steady and solid sign of Capricorn. As the second new moon in December this is known as the black moon and its power is potent. Capricorn I would say is a much misinterpreted or misunderstood sign.

The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol (‘sun’) and sistere (‘to stand still’), because at the time of the solstice, the Sun's declination appears to ‘stand still’.
It is a quiet time of contemplation as we look back on the season and reflect. This is the bringing of the light as we move through deepest winter. Capricorn season is brought in today - this cardinal earth sign brings forward motion as we prepare to move onwards with patience, precision and planned foresight.
New Moon in Sagittarius 1/12/24
Today is a new moon in the mutual fire sign of Sagittarius. I am loving the feeling of this moon. For me it is fuelled with positive thinking, forward motion and the gift of foresight and that of dreams that come true. Sagittarius is ruled by jovial Jupiter (which incidentally is in loose opposition) - Jupiter expands (it’s a gas giant) so when it touches something it is like a finger of joy that puts a bright sheen where once there was dark. Not only is it new moon but it’s also the first day of December. Sparkle Sparkle - I’m seeing so many put the Christmas decs up early and wishing to bring light into their homes and that touch of magic!

Happy full supermoon in Taurus! This moon packs a punch as the last supermoon of the year. A big spotlight is being shone on the areas of our life that need to change. Finding out what what needs to go, what no longer works and gives us an opportunity to use obstacles as stepping stones to reach a higher goal. Uranus is the instigator here being conjunct the moon by a degree. Uranus is the great awakener. It is an erratic planet that doesn’t play by the rules. It even spins sideways in rebellion announcing its uniqueness and standing out from the crowd.

November is the domain of scorpio - its your month. A fixed water sign at home in the mysterious eighth house ruled by the dark lord of the underworld Pluto (Hades). This month we go deep. It is about getting to the bottom of things - peering under the surface and exploring the depth of the soul.

Today sees a new moon and with that a solar eclipse of the sun. The fourth and final eclipse of the year - a culmination. 🌑🌞
Eclipses are powerful bringers of change. It is an opportunity to transform and transmute. An energetic portal that brings an intertwining of dark and light - merging the two briefly in order to delve deep into the subconscious and bring to light that which is hidden.

Autumn Equinox 22/9/24
...and so the wheel turns and we head into another midpoint. As day and night create equal time we gather our thoughts towards the lessening of the light as the winter months slowly creep forward. A time to go inward and reflect.

Unveiling the Shadow
Today the moon reaches completion in the watery sign of Pisces at 25º 40’ in conjunction with its ruling sign Neptune at 28º 35’ Pisces opposite the sun in Virgo. This is the harvest moon of September - a special moon for me marking the arrival of my orange moon cat George who came knocking at my door and filled a void in my heart! (Happy gotcha day George).
